Q.
What is an "advertising campaign?"
A. A Google® advertising
campaign is a set of online ads
targeting a market niche and optimized
for a specific set of keywords.
For example, if you target real estate
buyers and sellers in Southern
California, that is one
campaign. Targeting relocation
prospects or strictly condo buyers would be another campaign.
Pursuing just real estate investors would
comprise yet another campaign group.
Q. What will my advertising costs be?
A.
You can spend as much or as little as
you like, although
Google does calculate a recommended
minimum daily budget. If you don't meet
the recommended budget, your ads will be
shown intermittently throughout the day
rather than every time your keyword is
entered into the Google search engine.
You will not be charged beyond your
daily budget.
However,
you are only charged when
someone actually clicks on your ad. So
if your daily budget is $5, then your
actual monthly charge will be somewhere
between $0 and $150. And when someone
clicks on your ad, the actual cost to
you will not exceed the maximum
"cost-per-click" (CPC) bid in the
campaign set-up procedure. CPC could
run anywhere from a few cents to several
dollars, depending on the keyword
popularity and ad positioning on
Google. But you will never exceed your
daily budget - when it's consumed, your
ad may stop running for that day.
Q. How do I pay Google for the PPC
advertising?
A.
We will set up a Google account
for you. This requires either a
credit or debit card
against which Google will apply charges
for your ad click-throughs. Google
charges you a one-time activation fee
($5). They then set an initial US$50
credit limit. Google charges you after
30 days or when you reach your initial
credit limit of US$50 (or your local
currency rate), whichever comes first.
Q. How long will it take to get my
online PPC advertising going?
A. Typically, your ads can begin
appearing on Google search engine
returns within
about a week.
Q. How often will my PPC appear in
Google?
A. Ad frequency and position on the
Google search engine page
depends on
several factors: 1) your keywords and
their popularity, 2) your daily budget,
and 3) the maximum cost-per-click bid
for your keywords. This is a
complicated process which requires
expertise with Google's Adwords, their
solution for Internet advertising on the
Google search engine.
We will discuss these parameters with you
and set up an optimal solution to fit
your budget.
Q. How many additional prospects can
I expect to receive through Google
PPC advertising?
A.
It depends on your daily
budget, the maximum cost-per-click
established for your keywords, loan
rates, real estate market conditions and
market competitiveness. Also, the
conversion rate (i.e., the percentage of
Google users that click on your PPC ad
and actually submit the completed form
on the landing page) is typically around
0.5% to 5%.
Over a year's time, you can expect
contact from anywhere between a few or
even tens of clients that you would not
otherwise enjoy. The
best way to find out is to try the
online promotion service for three
months to see how it works for you.
Note that many people who click on your
ad, but do not submit the lead form
often bookmark the URL to their
"Favorites" for later reference. They
may come in a few weeks or months, for
example, when they are ready to buy or
sell. Also, having your service visible
to potential clients creates name
recognition among buyers, sellers and
investors who are more likely to
remember you when they decide to
take action.
Q. What's involved in managing my
online campaign?
A.
You don't have to do anything.
We'll manage the campaign to ensure
optimal results within your budget. You will receive
monthly reports showing the number of
impressions (ad appearances),
click-throughs and Google costs.
Q. How can I
modify or upgrade my PPC advertising campaign?
A.
Simply email or call us with
instructions for what you would like to
accomplish. We'll contact you if
there are any questions or if our
monitoring of your advertising results
suggests the need for enhancements.
Q. What about compliance with State
regulations for real estate agents and
brokers?
A. You are responsible for complying
with your State regulations
on landing page materials or the Website
page to which PPC responders are
directed. At minimum, this
includes disclosure of your agent or
broker status at the bottom of the page.
You must advise Pacifica Endeavors of
what disclosure statements are required
if we create a landing page for you.
Q. What are my
out-of-pocket expenses?
A.
You are responsible for the
Pacifica Endeavors' monthly management fees and Google
charges for click-throughs on your ads
(both of which are charged directly to your
credit or debit card).
Q. How do I get started?
A. Submit the completed form for
the service of interest and complete the
first payment process. This goes
through PayPal, a well-recognized secure
checkout procedure. If you don't
have a PayPal account, one can be set up
in minutes with a credit or debit card.
We will
then contact you to gather information for
your Google account and ad campaign.
We will then set up your PPC
advertising with any
link you wish to your Website. Your
campaign will be active in about a week
from the time we are notified of your
first payment.
Q. What if after
talking to you, I decide not to proceed?
A.
Your initial payment will be promptly
and fully refunded. If,
after the initial interview with you, we
feel that your objectives and financial
budget will not produce results,
Pacifica Endeavors will advise you not
proceed and refund your payment.
Q. Am I committed to a contractual
time period?
A.
No, you can terminate our agreement at
any time and your
Google PPC advertising will stop within
the next day.
Our recommendation,
however, is that you give the online PPC
advertising campaign at least three
months to gain traction and produce
results.
Q. Am I guaranteed to
see results?
A.
No. Google PPC advertising is a
complex process involving many variable,
including competitiveness and real
estate market conditions. However,
we will closely monitor your ad campaign
and work with you to achieve optimal
results within your budget. You
will receive detailed reports that show
the results, and you may discontinue our
service at any time.
Q. If I decide to
discontinue the REonline service, will I
still be charged for the full month?
A. If you "unsubscribe"
anytime before your monthly anniversary
date,
your subscription to the REonline
service will stop beginning with the
next monthly period. But
you will be charged for the current
monthly period.
